More and more often, I look down on my phone and see that I have a missed call and a voicemail, but my phone never rang. This happens to me and my wife. This happens as follows: I call my wife's phone. There is a "long" pause (maybe 10-15 seconds, no ring back tone heard) and I hear her voicemail come on. I can repeat this call multiple times and the calls go right to voicemail. When I finally am able to reach her, she says that her phone was turned on and she was not on it. She looks at her phone and sees that she missed a call and has a voicemail. This happens when both of our phones are set to "wi-fi calling" and both of us are on wi-fi networks. This also happens if both of our phones are on "over-the-air 4G or 5G". I think this might be a system throughput issue? Maybe the system is overflowing and the only thing it can do is send calls to voicemail? I see previous posts about this, but our issue has started to become a real issue. Both of us are long-time Verizon customers. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Z-Fold 5; hers is a Samsung Galaxy S24. We live in SW Florida.
