I have pored over forums all over the web for a resolution to my problem. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6. Suddenly, yesterday, I stopped receiving a notification sound for incoming text messages. It vibrates for half a second and that's it. I have checked volume controls, made sure "enable notifications" was checked, did a phone reset (NOT factory - hopefully it won't come to that), checked settings all over the place, reverted back to normal messaging from Message+, but then went back again because that didn't work either and I like Message+. I can't fix this issue. And yes, notifications volume is all the way up, too.
I could use some fresh ideas! Anyone? Thank you!!! With the holidays here I can't afford to miss text notifications. I have people counting on me for a lot!
