Asus Zenfone AR not receiving SMS through Message+

Just got the Asus Zenfone AR and got everything transferred over. Now I have discovered that I can send messages out using Message+ just fine. But when a person replies back it never shows up. If I go online and sign into my account, I can see their reply but it never comes to my phone. I've tried restarting, clearing data then restarting, nothing seems to help. When I go to the Message+ menu and click on Activate (used to be subscribe) it will say Please Wait Starting Service for about a second or two then the box goes away and nothing ever happens. I'm also experiencing this with Google's Messages. The only one I have been able to see replies on is Google Allo. Kind of at a loss... any suggestions?

Hi JoeyM_VZW, the replies will show up if I log in online. I don't have a tablet to test it on. I have to use my phone's browser or log in on a computer to see them. And I can see the ones I sent from my phone on there as well. Just not getting them on my phone.

mifa4, ensuring you have the ability to receive all of your messages is a must. Help is here. What do you experience with the stock application for text messages that came with the phone? Does that work properly?
