Cancel an eGift

Is it possible to rescind an eGift I sent to someone through Verizon Message+ if the person has determined they don't want the gift?

McGTactical-0317, We know the importance of ensuring that your eGift card is used correctly. While we do not have a way to cancel or rescind an eGift card, you have the sender forward the eGift card back to you or send it to someone else. To forward the eGift Card to a friend or family member, the eGift Card recipient must 

  • Select the eGift Card through the eGift Category.
  • Select the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the card.
  • Select Send to a Friend.
  • Enter the MDN or email address of the new recipient.
    • Result: The new recipient receives the card and can use it BAU.
