Message+ EGift

My EGift feature won’t work. When I try to view the catalog it closes the app all together. Are there any fixes for this?

I read online you could subscribe or unsubscribe via “integrated messaging settings” but don’t have that option anywhere. I have an iPhone.

Rchill79, I saw you're having issues with eGift. To get more details, what are you trying to do in eGift? Send something to someone or trying to redeem/view something, a person has sent you? I saw you mentioned the app closes, so I get that's happening. But some more details on what you're trying to do there will help me out with seeing what's up.

Mine stopped working also. Called vzw who tried to troubleshoot and aaid to allow 24 hours. Product code message is 113.

I'm having the same issue. The egift choice is missing now but when I go to settings and click on egift catalog it pops up and then immediately closes.

It's like gifting went missing overnight. It was there Thursday and by Friday morning it was gone. What the heck #Verizon?

I have the same exact issue. Messages + works fine but as soon as i open the e-gift catalog it force closes the app on my iphone. Dont even waste your time talking to verzion support. Ive chatted in now 4 times with zero resolution. THey all say the same thing.. Make sure you phone has the latest IOS. Make sure you updated the app. Delete and re-install. Im going to reset your message + on our side. Make sure you reset your network setting blah blah. Finally they just told me to send in a bug report and someone will get to it...

I just submitted a bug report as well. Hopefully they'll get it fixed. I was going to send a couple of birthday gifts but so much for that. Maybe they'll have it working again by the next time my brother and friend have birthdays.

I have been having the same issues for days on my devices. Anytime I click Egift, the app crashes. On my ipad I will sometimes get an error that says " Gift The operation couldn't be completed. try again later". I have also submitted tickets on the app but have not received a response.

Opened a. Incident ticket snd still no help. They said they know it's down and no repair date. This is bad due to black Friday coming up.

Also having this problem!! Spontaneously closes just by tapping on eGift Catalog. Updated the app and restarted my phone before finding this thread. Would love to know if there’s a fix!! Is it only iPhones? I have androids I could try to sign in on if it works on those but is that gonna force me to wait out the 48 hours again cause no thanks would really like a faster solution or work around

I'm glad I am not the only one with this issue, I just checked again and the E-gift catalog is completely gone for me now. That's great....

I'm sorry you've been having issues trying to use the eGift option in Message+, We heard from our team which troubleshoots the app, and they confirmed there is a known issue for using eGift currently affecting both Android and Apple devices. At the moment the app group does not have an expected timeframe for having a fix, but they are working hard on it. I appreciate your patience as our Message+ team works to get this fixed.
