Message+ Not Ringing

The message+ app on my LG G5 is not ringing when the ringer is on, or vibrating when its on vibrate. All of the volumes are up. I also have this app downloaded on my PC operating with Windows 8. How can I get this to ring/vibrate on my phone when I get a message. I"m still getting the message, but not the notification (ring/vibrate) when I get a new one.

That's definitely odd and we certainly want to ensure you're getting your notifications. When did this begin exactly? Have there been any changes since this started such as app updates or even sytem updates?
