Message Plus not syncing with windows 10

I can send and receive texts from my android phone using message+.  I installed message+ on my windows 10 laptop.  I can send messages from the laptop and they are received by the person I sent them to, but do not sync to my phone.   Also messages sent on my phone do not show up on my laptop.  I removed message+ and reinstalled it but the problem persists.

Now the web based system appears to be not working. I sent an important text to a business client and I don't see where it went out...I checked all three of my devices and it seems to have disspeared...

I need some answers, if Verizon is not going to support Message +, or a similar upgraded producted within the the next few days would you please let us know? For the past week I've been using your web based system and it isn't acceptable, I have to continuously log in and out. And now  texts are not going out.

Like many other very frustrate customers, I've been relying upon this with two laptops and my phone, and despite some annoying quirks, it's been a reliable system for the two or so years I've been using it. Until mid August.

I've been folloing these threads in the commuity for the past few weeks, come on Verizon, as a company worth a quarter of a TRILLION dollars you should be able to provide a solution. Please provide a common sense reply:

Are you going to fix this?

If so when?

JPWREALESTATE, we understand the importance of making sure all of your important text messages are syncing seamlessly across all of your devices. We truly apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. We do want to let you know that the Message+ Verizon Messages - Windows Desktop application is not compatible with Windows 10 computers. The Windows messaging client for Verizon messages is being temporarily removed to prevent syncing issues and we are recommending that our customers utilize the messaging web client as a windows alternative by following the steps listed on the https://vz.to/2lG6fgY. The Message+ team is aware and working on a resolution.

I have been having the same issue with Message+ on Windows 10 for some time now.

1) Messages I send from my phone don't show up in the Windows app

2) Messages I have read on my phone don't get marked as "read" in the app

3) Contacts updated on my phone either don't show up as updated in the app, or they take hours or even days for the changes to appear

There seems to be some major issues with the app sync-ing with Verizon's servers. There are no error messages displayed by either the Android or Windows versions of the apps. If there is some form of logging that can be enabled, I am unaware of it but would be glad to enable and sent to the appropriate development team.

I am running the latest apps on both my phone and on Windows 10:

Phone: 6.9.6

Windows 10: 2.0.2.0

It appears that Verizon has known about this issue for some time. It is very disappointing to me that this issue is apparently not receiving any attention. The Windows app has been at version 2.0.2.0 for quite some time, making it appear that no updates to the app have even been attempted, much less successful.

Please advise as to the level of attention that Verizon has focused on this issue.

Thank you,

    Scott L and Family

Did Verizon take down the Verizon Messenger Windows 10 App? I no longer see it on Windows Store site or Verizons website.

I assume they gave up. I have been using the App on and off when on my Windows PC upstairs. It no longer connects. There appears to be no troubleshooting info really out there as to the issue or a fix. The app itself is pretty basic in terms of settings.

i am having the same issue that everyone else has expressed.  fairly recently the Verizon message + app stopped synching with my android phone...Motorola  Moto Z3.   never had this problem before.  it's only been in the last 2 or 3 weeks that this started happening.

READ THE POSTS, THEN YOU WILL GET AN IDEA HOW LONG AND FRUSTRATING THIS ISSUE IS.

No resolution as yet, I am using the web based app to do PC stuff with messaging...temporary fix until they resolve the issue...

chatted with support today, got this reply  The windows messaging app is not compatible with Windows 10 at the moment. The messaging client has been temporarily removed to prevent syncing issues. This is why the messaging app will no longer work with Windows 10. Our Message+ team is aware of this issue and are working on a resolution.

I have the same problem.  Last time it worked for me was 8/19.  Something happened around that time.

My desktop stopped syncing after Aug. 22nd, 2019.  Lousy Verizon cell phone service where I live.  And the desktop was so nice to get text via wifi.  Plus much better to use desktop keyboard to reply with!  Lousy that Verizon let this hang up when they don't provide quality service in the rural areas, expecially for people like me that have unlimited service, but can only get "No Service" or one bar service in my community, unless we climb up something!

Okay, I am an IT Professional (42 years of IT in fact). I have the same issue. I have even built a brand new computer, with a brand new installation of Windows 10, and fresh installation of Message+ Version 2.0.2.0, and I still have the issue of not syncing all of my messages. I can verify that I can send from the Windows App, but I don't get any new messages coming in on the app. This is very frustrating, since I run a  small IT business, and manage my responses to clients, and potential clients from my computer. I use the Message+ App on my phone, and have no issues with it. What I would like to see here is, an answer stating that Verizon is aware of the issue, and are working on a fix. None of the garbage droppings, they have responded with would work with any of my clients, and they most certainly do not satiate me in the slightest.

l understand completely what your going through.  l have spent over 5 hrs on the phone over a 2 day peiod and told the ter 3 rep. from Verizon this and after a 20 min. wait l was retransfered pack to the blockhead 3rd party tech support people that l first spoke to when it first started messing up. l think that this might be the straw that broke the camels back with Verizon after 20 yrs, of service and they have now tried to pull this stunt (#3) , strike 3 your out !!!  Hello Comcast for internet land line phone and TV and Consumer cellular for cell phone.  Verizon l pitty the fool(s) that work for you.  This is noway at all to treat a 20 year customer  "GOOD BYE VERIZON"

Same here.  The phone messages don't show up on the laptop.  It's stupid to say that they sync when they don't or won't and it seems no one in Verizon really knows how to resolve the issue.

To Verizon

It used to work on my windows 10 and suddenly stopped working, so no connect and disconnect, what ever you did to it in the last 2 months ruined it., so start there.

I've been having the exact same issue, and the same timing.  IE, worked fine until a few weeks ago.  Have confirmed it isn't a firewall issue at my company.  W10, Samsung S9.  Can send messages from desktop app, they send and appear on phone, W10 app receives no inbound messages.  Have reininstalled, it loads some random historical messages and then stops.

Is Verizon going to get this fixed?  Or not? I have been experiencing this problem since July 19 and I have read through pages and pages related to this problem on this forum and it appears that Verizon is not capable of fixing this problem.  I am beginning to believe that Verizon may not even understand the problem. Customers do not want a "workaround". They want the problem fixed.

garycsan,

I'm sorry to hear that the unsubscribe is not there for you like it should be. I want you (as well as the multitude of others in the forum experiencing the same issue) to have a speedy resolution so your online Verizon Messaging works the way it is supposed to. Due to Integrated Messaging being a specific online function, the best bet will be reporting this as a bug. This can be done through the Verizon Messages application, shown below.

1. Open the Message+ app
2. Click Menu > Settings > Account
3. Report a bug

You can also go into your application store and type in Verizon Messages. Then, once you open the app within the store, there is information to email the developer (VerizonMessages@VerizonWireless.com).
This information will go to a specialized team who monitor the reports coming in and resolve outstanding issues like the one you are currently experiencing.

I appreciate your patience while this gets addressed for you.

This is happening to me now. Something happened recently.

Before I could send and receive text via the app on Win 10. Now, my new messages I receive are not showing in the app on my computer. When I send a message from the app, they are receiving it, but the message I send and receive on my phone are not showing in the app, and the message I send from the app don't show on my phone.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, unsubscribed and subcribed again. Same result.

The last time it worked was 7/30.
