Text Forwarding?

Is there a way to forward to my email a conversation via text? I know you can forward each one separately, but the whole chain?

Secondly - I am being charged multiple text rates, as my friends and family text me 1 time, and it breaks down into 3 messages into my phone. Therefore their 30 word text, may break down into 2-3 texts, thus charging me for 2-3? At&T customers, Verizon, and Sprint so far have been some of the one's breaking down.

Texts longer than 160 characters are broken into 160 character messages, but I thought they counted as one text...even if received as multiple texts. Most newer phones are capable of longer messages.

You can try having them send them as a picture message - that way you can use up to 1000 characters. You don't have to attach a picture, just use the picture message option so there are more characters available.

Once the maximum amount of characters have been met when sending/receiving a text, you will be charged for each message that was sent or received. Here are the steps to forward messages to a email address.

From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located on the bottom of the screen).

Touch Messaging.

Touch the desired message.

Touch and hold the area outside the message / attachment.

Touch the desired message option.

Press the menu button for additional options. Not all options will be available with all messages.

You would choose to forward, then you can enter the email address in the field where you would enter the mobile number in a regular message. Then send as normal.
