Hi, I'm currently using a Samsung Gleam and I tried sending text to my email but it keeps coming back and telling me that "service not activated on Network" but I know that you can send text to emails without problems

I know it can be frustrating when you're trying to do something you're told is available, but is not working. As Minniehaha mentioned, you can register at the Vtext website; however, it isn't necessary to send a text to an e-mail address. Are you forwarding as a text or as an e-mail? If forwarding as an e-mail, you may get the error message that the service is not activated on network. Below I have provided you with the steps to forward or send a text message to an e-mail address.

Did you sign up for the VText mail? You have to register first. Go to My Verizon and register there.
