My daughter's Family Base time restrictions start at 8:30 pm, but she was able to text me and receive my answer at 11:00 pm last night. I checked the profile and her time restrictions are correct.

I am an iPhone user and I am very familiar with this restriction. No worries, we will get to the bottom of this. Family Base works over Cellular data which uses SMS and Data. Messages are indeed blocked; however, iMessaging can still work if it is between iPhone users. Please know, since iMessage is a free feature Apple offers, we are not able to control or stop usage while using iMessage. As an option, you may turn her iMessage off to prevent her from messaging other iPhone users. I hope this helps to answer your main concern. We are here to always assist. As a mother, I know how important it is to ensure we are able to manage our children’s cellphone use ChristinePru. Lets ensure the Family Base app is working successfully. What make and model phone does your daughter have? Has the Family Base feature always worked successfully? If so, when did this start?

She has an iPhone 5C, and this feature has worked successfully for weeks. As far as I know, the night I described was the first time it didn't work.
Sorry for the delay; busy week. I don't have an iPhone, so it's not that she's just able to text other iPhone users. And it is still happening, because she was texting me last night at 9:30. Is there other info I can give you that would be helpful?
