This happened to me twice, around 8/19/17. the number sending me the text is [removed]. I deleted them but they said something about a group text, and they had my brothers number on it, (blued out to click on, but I did not). then I received on saying I was removed from Darlene's group (that is my sisters name) and it still had my brothers number on it. I just deleted all. Who and what is this?

That is a great question. There are many ways to be added in a group text message. We want to make sure to avoid this from happening again. What kind of phone do you have? Have you seen the number appearing again? Is there a chance that anyone in the group added this number?

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy 4. I didn't even start a group message, and have no idea where those messages came from and how they got my brothers number, nor my sisters name. I think they texted me 3 times.

Thank you for that update, Brandtla1956. Did you reach out to your brother or sister to have this looked into? It is possible that they accidentally added you to a group message and removed you after.

They don't even know how to do that, LOL! Nope all of us are in the dark about this one.
