Because I was not sure if I was paying an extra 10$ for something that was already included?

500 messages plus unlimited mobile to mobile messaging -$10
So if you wanted the 500 messaging plan for $10, you would get unlimited mobile to mobile with just Verizon customers. Nope you would not need to pay extra for that feature.
Mobile to mobile texting is not included in our plans. Mobile to mobile texting is on available on the $10 and higher text package.
