When I try to retrieve a voicemail, i get a "Visual Voice Mail error has occurred. Please try again." message. I have never signed up for it. How do I get rid of it?
Are you using the icon to try and retrieve the voicemail? That icon opens the app for Visual Voicemail, so if you are not using it, that would explain the error you are getting.
What happens if you dial *86, or your 10-digit phone number? You should be prompted for your password, and then have access to your voicemail.
I have always used the yellow voicemail icon to retrieve voicemails. Yes, I can access with the other, but again I have used the other (for years).
