Stream TV Soundbar, disable auto-shutoff?

I am using the Stream TV Soundbar as the primary speaker for my PC, and it seems to have some sort of auto-shutoff feature enabled. It's extremely annoying and inconvenient to have to randomly get up to turn it back on when it shuts itself off and I'd like to stop it from doing this.
I have looked through the only settings page I can find for the soundbar and there is nothing there to the effect of "auto shutoff"; only specific settings for audio or video. I contacted tech support, but the representative seemed to have no idea what I was asking, as every suggestion she gave was completely irrelevant to the problem (like "unplug and plug back in" or "plug into a different port"; the sound plays through the device just fine, what I need is to stop it from turning itself off every few hours). Neither Google nor the setup materials for the soundbar have information about this setting in any capacity, let alone how to disable it.
Is this something that can even be disabled? Or is it just hard-coded into the device?
