I tried following these steps using my computer and not my phone
- From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon
- From the My Verizon Home navigate: Account+play
- ClickManage (at the top).
- From the 'Active' section, clickManage below the applicable subscription.
- From the 'Manage' section, clickCancel subscription.
- Review the info then click Remove
When I all of the above, I do not see the option to cancel. This is what I see.
The only options I can change is my payment method and service address

I am unable to cancel my membership using the steps provided in your link. I was signed up through the free Verizon play+ promo that I received when I purchased my phone. Not through YouTube or YouTube TV.
When following the steps provided in your link (shown above), when I tap "MANAGE" , it takes me to the Verizon play+ page, where there is no option to cancel. So I have no option to cancel on Youtube or on the Verizon play+ page.

Thank you for the details rablackwell86, we appreciate it. We want to help you as much as we can with this situation. Can you please send us a screenshot of the image you see when you select "Manage'? Have you tried doing this from the My Verizon website? We have noticed that the application and website provide you different options.

Yes I've tried it from the website, the Verizon +play website has a link to Youtube to "manage my account", and when I got to YouTube and manage my purchases/memberships where Sunday Ticket shows up, and I click Manage there (as is shown on the previous website you linked and below), it brings back back to the Verizon +play website. So it's just a loop where Verizon +play sends me to Youtube, and Youtube sends me back to +play, but neither provides an option to actually cancel the subscription.

No not yet. They gave me a number to call, 1-833-855-0817, saying they can help me to cancel the subscription. I haven't done that yet, but when I google that number it appears to be Youtube TV customer service, so I have a feeling that when I talk to them they're going to tell me that I need to contact Verizon, even though Verizon just told me to contact them, so it's going to be a never-ending loop just like it is online.
I noticed the Verizon +play page in my account has a calendar showing scheduled payments under the Billing and Credits tab, and when I click that it only shows a February 2024 calendar, can't look ahead to March yet though. My sub isn't up until March 19th, so I'm going to check that scheduled payments calendar next month and see whether or not it has the Sunday ticket auto-renew on there, and/or if there is an option to cancel from there. After that I'll call the number above, and if all else fails I will call the sales rep who sold me my phone and set me up for the Sunday Ticket promo to begin with.

With Football season coming to an end, I get wanting to make a few changes. You can cancel any +Play subscription you have, via the website. I've got the steps on how you add, manage, and unsubscribe via +Play here: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-301835/
The unsubscribe steps are outlined under the tab and can be viewed by hitting the '+' icon. If you have already unsubscribed from an item, it will show that and confirm how much longer you can use the service before it ends, since most subscriptions have a monthly cycle.

Thank you. The various private messages asked how Verizon could reach out, so I provided my number. I was then advised to call *611 which was a joke as the automated system was unable to help me and when I prompted "cancel NFL Sunday Ticket" the automated response provided a link on how to subscribe and disconnected 3 separate times. My 4th attempt resulted in getting sent a link to a virtual chat with a live agent who then was able to advise me that the NFL Sunday ticket was unable to be cancelled as it is an annual subscription. I advised that when I purchased the new phones on the fall it was a promotional item and I was told to contact Verizon to cancel it before it renewed at the end of the season. After much back and forth the agent informed me that she was unable to cancel NFL Sunday ticket and that I need to re-contact her one week before it renews so that they can cancel the auto-renew. Needless to say, this has been the most absurd and arduous process trying to cancel a promotional offer. I would never recommend accepting this promotion to anyone and find it ridiculous how it's so incredibly difficult it is to cancel this it's absolutely disgusting.
