Problem connecting Verizon+play Sunday Ticket to existing YouTubeTV account

I purchased the discounted Sunday Ticket pass ($100 off for existing Verizon customers) using Verizon+plus. That step went fine and I have the option to complete the setup to connect it to YoutubeTV.
Context:
* I have an existing YoutubeTV account
* The account has previously had Sunday Ticket add-on but does not have it now (I have tripple checked)
Problem:
* When I attempt to complete the setup, I get "Looks like you already have an account. NFL Sunday Ticket connected to your account. You may continue to redeem this offer using a different email address or account information."
I don't want to use a different account since I already have a YT account. Chat support has been largely not useful and has supposedly escalated the problem but I still have no resolution.
Of course, Verizon had no problem charging my card. So right now, I can't use the subscription but also have been charged.
Any thoughts on how to fix this?

This has gotten worse. I wot can't even attempt to connect the subscription to YouTubeTV. I keep getting redirected to the same Verizon+play subscriptions page when I click the Set Up button on the sunday ticket subscription.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the information.
For any issues with NFL Sunday Ticket from YouTube service, customers must contact YouTube for support. Verizon is not able to directly transfer customers to YouTube. To contact YouTube, direct the customer:
- Call 833-855-0817
- To use the YouTube app: Help > Contact Us.
- On a Mobile device from the Profile icon the user can select Help from the 3-dot button on other pages.
- An alternative is through YouTube TV Help Center > Contact Us.
- Phone, chat, and email support are available 24x7 in English.
- Users input phone number and receive a callback from Google system and then connect directly to a support agent.
- Phone, chat, and email support are available 24x7 in English.

This has now become a parody. I was told that my support ticket on this case has been closed because the team recommended that I clear my "cache". I have of course previously discussed that I have tried this on multiple browsers including incognito mode (which would have cleared all cookies and local storage and session state). What I don't understand is how you can close a support incident without confirming with the submitter that the issue is resolved.
The support person is now opening a new "priority" ticket. It is pretty clear that there is very little understanding on how to troubleshoot this issue. My hopes at this point are very low but I can waste another few days.
Does anyone have ideas on how to expedite to a more competent level of support?
