I went to the Verizon store with my husband's Iphone 8 and my Iphone 13 to get a new phone for my husband. I was told I could upgrade his phone to an Iphone 15 and receive an $800 trade in allowance on his old phone! I was shocked! But since it was such a great offer he talked me into trading my phone in as well. The only catch there is that I had not completed paying the 36 months worth of payments on my phone. But not to worry! All I had to do was pay off my phone which was only approx $157left. Now all I would need to do is pay the tax on the phone which was approx. $150. Oh wait, I also need to pay $40 to upload to icloud and download to the new phone. Oh wait, I also need to pay $35 to activate the new phone. All this times 2 for the 2 phones. WELL..... I get my first bill and I did not receive $800 trade in, I received $656.64 for each phone. So I ended up trading in my still working, nothing wrong with, my iphone 13. I called Verizon and was told that I really got a good deal! Excuse me????? He ended up telling me that he would esculate my situation and would be hearing something from Verizon. Does anyone have an email address of someone with Verizon that can actually help me?
