Be careful when dealing with Verizon my wife and I went to see what kind of deals were going on we're told our phones are paid off and ready for an upgrade and they had a good deal on the S24 ultra so we went with it the rep switches everything over I pay for all the taxes and fees about ($300) she then tells us she miss read something and we had to pay $490 more before we could trade in our phones so I told her nevermind we didnt want to do that we'll just keep our old phones until they're paid off she the tells us that instead of $840 per trade in that we'd get a loyalty deal and they'd be giving us $1120 per phone to make up for the mistake of not telling us before hand that there was still a balance on our old phone the rep tells us to keep the phone and come back anytime in the next 40 days and they'll get it taken care of we go back in today about a week later and we're told that it's not showing up and there's nothing she can do we call Verizon and are told they don't back individual stores that unless it's a corporate store there's nothing they can do so they have their authorized dealers lie to customers to sell them their products and then tell them they have no part in their business I've been with them for 3+ yrs and have 7 phones lines and am treated like sh_t by them never missed a payment nothing this is only a summary just know they'll lie right to your face

I'm not a 100% what a premium retailer store but I'm guessing you mean an actual brick and mortar store if that's the case then yes it was a premium retailer it's the only Verizon store in blue ridge,GA that I know of

I am currently fighting them via chat now. I traded in my S22 Ultra for the S24 Ultra, the S22 was in perfect condition, no cracks or water damage.
Then i get the message that they adjusted the value from 800 to 275?!?!
Their site says that they will provide an explanation but d@mnd if they did, just its devalued, we will bill you for the remainder. Chat guy says the warehouse didnt provide a reason and they cannot do anything about it.
I thought ATT was bad..
Now they say the trade offer was a promotin and they are working on a correction.. English isnt a strong suite with these chat-ppl either.. I just wanna go back to flip phones and that snake game that was on the nokias...

As a tip always take photos of your devices on with serial and EMEI visible on and off and have them for up to 180 days. If they try to hit you with anything else send them the picture. I guarantee they back off on everything.

@vzw_customer_support, @Natasha That wasn't the person who started this thread, but both of them were looking for help from you. You didn't even explain what a "premium retailer" is. These people aren't getting help in their stores, and they're not getting help here, either. I've been a loyal customer for 12 YEARS without a discounted upgrade, and suddenly my loyalty discounts are disappearing, as soon as I need them. I know how these people feel.
