I have a s21 ultra with cracked screen. I was 100 percent up front with rep that its affecting the display and he assured me i would get 800 towards an s23. I repeatedly insisted that it has a broken display and he assured me I'll get the s23 for free less taxes and activation. It just sounds too good to be true, and I'm seeing a lot of horror stories about Verizon. Whats worse i already had my own experience when a rep saying that they'd give me an iPhone replacement for free then charged us 150 on bill and could not even return it. I really cant afford the full price of the phone, I don't even want that phone exactly its just its being promised for free. Samsung directly would give me an s23 ultra for just a bit more without even trading in with my discount. So can i really trust Verizon? I have fully documented my contact with them chat transcript and all . The agreement is relatively vague it just says must be in condition described. I'm very suspicious. No way my phone is worth 800.
