I-Phone Trade-in is not being honored

I traded in my old I-phone for a new one because of the $700 credit I would be receiving. 2 months later I receive an email saying they never received my phone, despite me having proof of delivery by UPS.  Nightmare trying to talk to someone on the phone.  I may just try going into a store. I have been with them since I first owned a cell phone in the late 90's. This might finally be goodbye!

Good luck! I've been with verizon for over 14 years. We tried to upgrade our phones in late December because they had a trade-in promo going on. We purchased the phones and were supposed to get boxes to trade them in. After calling and supposedly having the boxes sent again to us (twice), now Verizon is claiming they don't have any record of our trade-in/upgrade. Weird because they charged us for turning on the phones. Now we are out over $2000 that we spent on new phones and no deduction on our bill. Verizon is the worst!

Do not rush to draw conclusions hastily, mistakes happen, and they are fixable. I hope and believe that your problem is nothing to Verizon and it will be resolved in your favor! May everything be well with you!

I always wonder if you sent them a good phone, and then their warehouse says it is only worth $85, what can you do?  Next time, while at UPS store, start recording a video showing the phone in good condition, turn it off, putting it in box, show the label, hand it over to the UPS counter, get a receipt and show it?

what happened to the “ best carrier in US”?  Sad.

Kyou said try dropping in at store?  I just did that.  830 promotion trade in value.  The rep took the phone, gave me a receipt of $260, saying there is a system error, and it will self- correct.   It turns out rep keeps the phone and cancel my tradein. The receipt is a totally separate tradein for gift card f $260, which the rep keeps.
