I was told I was getting 2 phones for FREE if I traded my 2 phones in now I find out I have to pay the $1600.00 for my phones
Did your trade-in get processed and is appearing in your bill as a credit? If not, you'll have to wrangle with Verizon as to what happened to your old phone and why they aren't crediting you for the trade-in.
As for the device payment, I want to say the phone deals are now set up where you have to pay for the phone upfront, then Verizon pays you back in monthly credits for 36 months until the credits add up to the cost of the phone. Used to be they simply credited you monthly, but if you bailed out, then the credits quit and you had to pay for the rest of the balance. Guess they were having trouble keeping up with people if they bailed.
