what would I get back for an iPhone 12 I’ve had for a year?
Trade-in value is determined by whomever receives the trade-in at the warehouse, so nobody at the forums would be able to give you an exact number. But considering how a certain budget carrier was advertising new iPhone 12s for $100 if you switched to said carrier earlier this year, my guess would be "not much".
dreadheadj, good question and there are a couple of answers here. First, we need to figure out how you're trading it in. You can either get the market value for your phone, or a promotional offer.
If you're looking to get the market value for your iPhone, the easiest way to check for the value of any phone would be to use this link here: https://www.verizon.com/trade-in/
If you're getting a promotional offer, that value will more than likely increase, but it depends on the promotion you're trying to take advantage of. You can take a look at all of our promos here: https://www.verizon.com/deals/ The promotions will mention any trade-in requirements and you'll be able to find a list of eligible phones for trade-in and what the value is within those deals as well.
