Im trading in an old Iphone 12 mini to fulfill a Verizon promotion requirement. The old 12 mini's previous carrier was AT&T. While preparing to ship I saw that old phone is still locked. AT&T stated that I made too many attempts to request an unlock so I must wait 30 days.
Does a trade in phone to Verizon need to be unlocked? I assume it is just recycled anyway.
