We just recently upgraded my husbands phone to the iPhone 16. Verizon had a promotion to trade in “any phone” for a free iPhone 16. Today however I got an email saying my trade in value was only $85. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thank you for reaching out about your trade in promotion. I want to make sure we're able to clear things up. Was the phone that was traded in the last phone attached to your husbands line and active the last 60 days before the upgrade?

If you're referring to the promo currently on the website about "trade in and get up to $1000 off", the catch is that it's UP to $1000 off.
My "don't laugh, it's paid for" phone retails for $200 and if Verizon was giving out five times the value for it, I'd have upgraded already. 😉
