Trade in value changed

I sent in an iphone 15 via UPS as Verizon requested back in September. I don't have the tracking number anymore. On 11/18/24 I get an email that says that they never received my iPhone 15 and are unable to credit me my $1000 trade in credit towards my new phone. I knew that there might be a problem a week after I sent it and had called in telling them that it had not been documented that the phone was received but the phone was at their facility and the customer service rep "assured" me that everything was fine. 

I posted on here and everything was quickly resolved by a rep, but I suddenly start receiving emails today (1/9/25) saying that my trade in is being processed and now I'm only getting a $300 credit instead of $1000 because my trade in wasn't sent in during the appropriate time period. Someone has now gone in and undone what that rep did, and I need that fixed, again. I had really hoped that this whole thing was over. How long is this going to go on for?
