UPS lost my VERIZON TRADE-IN

 After attempting to resolve this straight forward issue via phone call, I feel like I must come here to get this issue resolved.

In January 2024, I decided to upgrade my iPhone 13 Pro and get a new iPhone 15 Pro because of the incredible $830 trade-in promo that Verizon was marketing. 

I dropped off the iPhone 13 Pro at the local UPS store on January 5th using the QR code that Verizon provided me via email. UPS provided a me a tracking number, which I still have. 

Today, March 5th, 2024, I woke up to an email from Verizon stating that the trade-in promo was revoked because they never received my trade-in within the 30 day timeframe. After reading the email, I immediately checked the UPS tracking number online and it showed that the package was delivered on 01/18/24 @ 11:17AM. Proof of delivery attached.

There was a glaring red flag on the next page. The package was delivered, however it was delivered empty. “All merchandise is missing and the empty carton was discarded.”

With the evidence clearly showing that UPS confirmed that the phone was dropped off on 01/05/24 and then confirming it was not inside the box  at the time of delivery 01/18/24, I thought this would get easily get resolved. I called in to the Verizon customer service line and was ultimately told that I need to contact UPS myself 

This is absurd. Can someone please reach out to me, so that this can get handled ASAP.
