Clearly says I’m eligible and that every one get the best phones on ultimate unlimited but I can only get that option if I pay off the phone so I upgrade plans last month for absolutely no reason been a loyal customer for 22 years and honestly thinking about finding a different provider my bill is ridiculous and I don’t even get what’s offered at minimum I should be eligible for trade in as nobody informed me when I got my iPhone 15 pro max that the 16 was coming out a week later and to just wait
why should I have to pay it off to trade it in on new one it’s a trade in absolutely dumb

I had this exact issue a few months back and the reps kept telling me the “contract” I signed negated trade ins and the phone had to be paid off regardless of the plan. It’s all just a money grab by them.

Yep exactly you’d think taking care of some of your customers you have had for the longest about of time would be top priority but I guess not

I can explain. If you didn't have the iPhone15 already paid off that. You would still have the remaining amount on that phone left tp take care of on top of w
what would be left from ghe new phone iafter the credit eaa applied. Thats because unless you outright paid upfront for that iphone15 than you would have signed a contractvamd in the fine pro t is where they put alllthe information most dont tell you and bow since you switched plans you cant even go back to the other. Plan. Its a like a roundabout on a highway or major city street you just keep circling around. Makes you dizzy

and unfortunately alot of the reps don't tell people that they make recommendations but if you don't know the f8ne print of things it can get ugly real fast. I know I've been with them for 16 years and am ready to amdwitch once my 4 device contracts are up. I have 5 lines but thank goodness that device contracts is up now.

You’re not alone, I just had a similar experience and it does not matter if you have been a loyal long term customer, the name of the game is profitability.
we will be Switching service providers or ditching cellphones all together.
good luck to you.
