Verizon not honoring trade in for 1000 dollars.

I can’t say how mad I am. I made the 1000 trade in and didn’t get the 1000 back. Not even the monthly split of it from trading my phone in. They practically stole my phone. I’ve called Verizon a million times probably and they have emailed me guaranteeing I would get the 1000 . Guess what? I didn’t get it!!!! Riddle me that Verizon. I have recordings of my phone calls with them promising I would get it. I never have. It makes me so upset how horrible Verizon had gotten. What a shame. I attached the  email they sent me confirming that I would get it. Months ago.

Did you get any confirmation that the trade in was received and processed?  Because I'm wondering if the package was lost or sticky-fingered by someone, especially if it was a recent model flagship phone in good condition.

I was referring to the traded in phone.  If that trade-in was lost or stolen in shipment, then Verizon will say you never shipped the trade-in, so will cancel the promo.  If Verizon did receive the trade in and you have confirmations of it, but they said your trade in was worth nothing or are otherwise refusing to give you the full $1000 promotional credit when you have otherwise met all the requirements for the promotion, then you will either have to keep wrangling with Verizon, or use an outside source who handles these types of concerns.

As an aside, recording phone calls, unless the other party is aware and has consented, is a very dicey situation.  Not every state is a one-party state where that's concerned, and with a good part of Verizon's CS being outsourced overseas, no telling what the law is there.
