iPhone trade in towards a different item

I actually have an iPhone and an iPad that I don’t use and was wondering if Verizon would want it but not for a trade in cause I already have the iPhone 16 and newest iPad. Would Verizon even take them if they aren’t trade-ins? If they would take them could they possibly do like a credit towards something else like accessories or something like that or maybe credit towards your bill etc? if anyone has any insight that would be much appreciated. Thanks
