What is the Verizon Home app?

The Verizon Home app is a convenient way to manage your home network. It helps you to set up, manage, use and troubleshoot your Verizon home internet service.

Who is eligible to use the Verizon Home app?

Users must have eligible equipment to use the Verizon Home app. Use the Verizon Home app with current Fios Home Internet, 5G Home or LTE Home router and extender equipment.

What’s the difference between the My Verizon app and the Verizon Home app?

 The Verizon Home app isn't required for home internet service. It is a dedicated use-based app to control your connected devices on the Verizon home internet service.  The My Verizon app allows you to manage your Verizon account, get a personalized view of all the newest tech, entertainment, deals and more.

Which user id should I use to log into the Verizon Home app?
 To log into the Verizon Home app you’ll need to use the user id and password associated with your Home Internet service.

• If you have Fios Home Internet service, use your Fios account’s My Verizon login credentials.
• If you have a 5G Home Internet or LTE Home Internet, use your mobile account’s My Verizon login credentials.

Where can I find video tips to troubleshoot my device(s) in the Verizon Home app?

 Here's how to find device troubleshooting videos:

• Open the Verizon Home app.
• On the Home Screen tap the Discover tab.
• Under Video tips, swipe to view and choose a specific troubleshooting video. Or tap All tips to view all videos.

How can I share my wifi network with guests?

To share your Wi-Fi password:

• Open the Verizon Home app.
• On the Home Screen under Quick actions, tap Share Wi-Fi or
  Under the Primary tab, tap Share Wi-Fi. 
• Have your guest scan the QR code from their smartphone or
  Tap Share to send them a message with the Wi-Fi name and password or
  Tell them the WiFi name and password shown on the Share Wi-Fi details screen

How do I manage Internet access time for people in my home?

To schedule internet access or pause it in real time, you will need to set up a device group.  To set up a device group:

• Open the Verizon Home app.
• On the Home screen under Device groups, tap plus (+) to add a device group.
• Enter details for the device group by entering a group name. You can customize the group name by uploading a photo. 
• Tap Next and add devices to the group.
• Tap Done.

You can now schedule or edit times to pause your internet service for additional control.
