Are texts starting with 9000 and having 12 digits really from VZ or are they scams?

Hi. I got a text with an offer that seems legit. The from address is 12 digits and the first four are 9000. Is this really from verizon or is it a phish. It had a URL of m.vzw.com/700s22 in it.

Thanks.

If you look up the domain of the link provided (vzw.com) you'll see it is a Verizon owned domain.

We would recommend meeting us in a Private note, so we can review if we sent the message. Sometimes a phishing scam will try to duplicate an actual message, and try to appear as us. We just want to make sure it is from us first before running into an issue. I hope this makes sense.

I just started as a new Verizon customer because Boost Mobile was so full of spammers, hacks & chaotic drama. And now I'm running into the same drama with Verizon even though I'm paying through the roof for a much better, safer & more secure service. But this is ridiculous. We can't even find out if 12 digit text numbers starting with 9000 are Verizon or not? Seems like that would be a pretty simple question to answer. It's kind of a yes or no, right? I have been so flustered, frustrated, and angry from what happened with me at Boost, that that has transferred with me here to Verizon because I feel like I'm getting nearly the same kind of customer service and answers to my question as I was there. Does any mobile service respect the customer anymore? Why is it so hard to help a customer who's paying the top tier prices for their service to feel safe and answer simple questions regarding security? Like, is this text message from Verizon or not? I've got all these different apps for security and call filters, but I can't even put this text message phone number that starts with 9000 and has 12 digits into the call filter app to find out if it's a legit number from Verizon? So then I try to simply do a chat support just to answer this simple question, and they block me there saying to try back in 30 minutes, and I believe that's because they think I'm a problem customer or something. When all I'm trying to do is feel safe and secure with this new mobile service that I'm paying through the roof for to feel secure. I'm ready to go back to a landline. I'm really hating mobile phones and internet devices ATM. And really despising Boost and Verizon both.
