I can't receive text messages from Sprint users. They receive my texts, and we can call both directions. My number used to be with Sprint before I switched to Verizon. How can this be fixed? Does Sprint still think that my number is theirs for messaging purposes? If so, how can that be fixed? Thanks!

Sounds like a text provisioning issue between Sprint and Vzw. You might give tech support a call to make sure everything is switching and communicating correctly within the network system.

Yes, it was an issue with Sprint, when the number was moved from them. Verizon support worked it out.
Glad that helped.
I'm having the same problem. No texts to Sprint, Virgin or Boost customers. I can call them. I can iMessage them, if they have an iPhone. I've been on the phone with my former carrier (Virgin Mobile) and Verizon. Tech Support didn't seem to know about the 'text provisioning issue" mentioned above by Snn5.
Still hoping to get help after they start a "ticket number."
Any clues on what I should tell the tech support specialists on this?

Wow. Thanks. That was easy. It seems my port from Virgin was never completed. Again thanks for passing on the port center number...that was what I needed! I can text everyone now!
Welcome.
