Gmail to vtext "421 4.1.0 <(myemailaddress)> server temporarily unavailable AUP#MXRT
destroyplutarchy

August 8- Verizon helps themselves to $5 more of my money per month.

August 9- Gmails i send to my phone number + vtext begin to have multiple hour delays or do not arrive at all.

i've received 3 emails from [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] with the error message you can see in the Subject line.

What i really need is someone to decipher what "421 4.1.0" and "AUP#MXRT" mean, and also a link to a writeup for what to do to solve this situation, thanks.

(Wish i could reliably send from my Gmail to my cell via Vtext.)

How about forwarding the issue/error message to the Verizon Messaging Team email address: verizonmessages at verizonwireless dot com.  I've had some success getting productive responses from them.

Thank you for the suggestion, jav6.

Forwarded the thread of Mail Delivery Subsystem notifications i'm accumulating to the address you shared with this message:

i see complaints about this from multiple customers are accumulating in Verizon Community >Services >Verizon the past few days, but official customer support only has semi-relevant questions to ask and no solutions.  vzw customer support has not responded to my post though it's been up for 21 hours.  i will be repeating my post every 24 hours (and noting this problem occurred right after Verizon increased my bill) until there's an official solution provided and i can verify i can send Gmail emails directly to my cell which arrive immediately.

Just had a look at Consumer Reports' dismal (but accurate) assessment of Verizon's performance.  It's almost the polar opposite of when i chose to become a Verizon customer so many years ago.  Glad to see there are companies like Ting and Consumer Cellular with high customer support scores to consider.
(Wish i could reliably send from my Gmail to my cell via Vtext.)

I would love to help to see what is going on. I was able to review your other post and I did want to mention this is a community forum so we do allow time for the community to respond. If you ever need immediate assistance then please contact us. www.vzw.com/support I know some time has passed do you still need assistance? -Amber

Hello Amber from Verizon.

Just sent a test message from my gmail address to my phone number plus vtext.  It should have been delivered immediately but it hasn't arrived yet.

So in answer to your question "Do you still need assistance?", that's a firm "yes".

But, i also see Lara608,, spidy2, shmuel3641, JasGot, and SpankyMcFarland have posts here describing essentially the same problem caused by Verizon.

So if you're going to provide "assistance", i hope you're ready to discuss the matter in public so other Verizon customers can refer to the information.  And i fully expect you to be able to solve this problem completely.  i also want the extra $5 per month on my most recent bill refunded for my trouble.

(Wish i could reliably send from my Gmail to my cell via Vtext.)

Thank you for testing it out once more and for providing us those details. Let's work together and gather some more details. To access your account we will need to move to a Private Note. We have sent a Private Note. Please meet us there to continue.

I have the same problem as well.  I try to send from gmail account to my cell # at vtext.com and get nothing for between 50 minutes and 3 days.

If I send something from yahoo to the same number it is visible quickly some times, and doesn't work at all others.
