How do i disable text messaging from my cell phone?

I have looked everywhere on this site and cannot find a way to disable text messaging from my phone. Someone plz halp! KThnxBye

If you want to fully disable text messaging, both sending AND receiving then you need to call customer service to request for a text message block. It's free and will probably take you about 5 minutes.

Or if you have My Verizon you can disable the feature there as well.

You cannot completely block text messaging from the website. You can only block Premium SMS. For a full block on text, incoming and outgoing, you need to contact customer service.
