Who are these numbers coming from? How to trace? I have tons of different texts in our message logs that have these odd combinations of numbers instead of actual phone numbers. What are they?
example: 000-052-7365

The US Short Code Lookup didn't show the others; you might try a Google search or check the content of the messages and see if that helps you determine the originator of the messages.

Turquoiseblu, as a valued customer, your account concerns are our concerns too. Our community members have provided great information about Short codes. Short code text messages typically provide value-added services for brands connecting with mobile customers. Short Code Text Messages:
• Have 5-6 digit numbers
• Are assigned by the Short Code Administration
• Allow customers to access mobile content through text messaging.
A few examples of Short code messages that are value-added services from major brands such as:
◾ Mobile Banking
◾ Marketing alerts
◾ Appointment reminders
◾ Mobile coupons
◾ Password authentication
◾ Radio station alerts
We have more information to share with you about Short code messages. For example, if you or your friends, family members, or business associates (Who are texting you) are using a messaging service or app rather than standard text messaging, the Short code is displayed instead of the phone number. For example, Facebook messages are displayed as 32665 and Twitter texts are displayed as from 40404, etc. There is also an option to opt-out or unsubscribe to a short code text messaging program should you decide to do so:
1. From your phone, text or reply STOP in the body of the message to the program's Short code.
2. A message confirming the cancellation will be sent to your phone. - RobertC_VZW
