Help please! I have been trying to use my verizon dollars unsuccessfully for about a year now. There is no option for me to apply them to a bill, and no one at verizon seems to be able to help. I'm so frustrated. Why is this so difficult? I've spent countless hours on the phone with Verizon- both the mobile side and the credit card side. Help!

I'm sorry you are having issues with using your Verizon dollars. I hope you can get this addressed with the Credit card side soon.

Hi, you're not the only one who's had this problem. From what I've read elsewhere, the problem is on Verizon's side, not the Synchrony side and someone did get it fixed, but I can't find the thread. 😞
Looking elsewhere on the internet brings up the following suggestions:
- Someone on Reddit said they had to get a ticket submitted on the Verizon side to have their account re-linked to the Verizon Visa card and then things worked again.
- Make sure you are listed as the Account Owner or as an Account Manager as only these roles can use the Verizon Dollars on My Verizon.
- If you made some changes to your account or were involved in a Transfer of Service, Verizon Dollars don't transfer.
- Some people report that they had to wait until a bill posts to their account before they could use Verizon Dollars towards it (i.e. you can't try to pay a bill early with Verizon Dollars).
- If you want to pay your Fios bill with Verizon Dollars, you need to have the Mobile + Home discount as well (I'm not sure if this is actually true, as you can't necessarily believe everything you see on the internet...)
- A contact number regarding the Verizon Visa Card and Verizon Dollars came up on Google as 866-313-9396, but I am not sure if that is with Synchrony or with Verizon.
Again, from having read several threads about this topic, I'm pretty sure the issue is on Verizon's side with your My Verizon account not being properly linked to the credit card. If you aren't having any luck getting a resolution via the usual means of contacting Verizon, you will have to try using an outside source who handles consumer concerns.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
