3G-1x signal strengths

Hello all,

My device started showing my signal bar strength from having 2 bars at the most LTE, then it switches to 3G and 1x.

I have called customer service, and the representative was not even able to trouble shoot that I ended up having a drop call

I am not sure why this is so, my device is < a month old, is this a device or a coverage issue? I get these indicators both from where I stay and at workplace in downtown San Francisco.

many large cities have congestion issues. Verizon is already working on improving things. Also being inside a big metal and brick building will kill a signal quick.

They never should have let it get so bad. If they are taking top dollar then they should provide a top network. In SF they are terrible, at least in my experience as someone who works and lives in the downtown area. VERY disappointing from such a boastful company.

That won't be an excuse.

I get only 1x from Verizon for $45/m, 3G for FREE data from another device, 4G from T-Mobile at the same place.

If it is congestion issues, Verizon would make it FREE.
