Casio Exilim pictures to computer

On my honest opinion I would check into a microSD card with a reader. That would make transferring a whole lot easier
You can get a 2gb one from the site that comes with a microsd card, a memory card, and a reader for like $20. And when you get a new phone you can just put the microsd card in the new phone and you won't have to worry

If you have texting you can send them to your email as a picture text. Just input your email address in the to field of the text and attach. You will have to send them one by one though. They will be reduced in size so if you want them the original size then you would need a micro card and card reader. Mary

Do you have a USB cord that can run from your phone to your computer? Plug the phone up and you should be able to open the folder from your computer that is your phone's folder and click and drag pictures. Or get a memory card with a microSD card slot and or a microSD reader and transfer them that way. that is what I do.

Wow, that was fast! There is a cord that came with the phone, that is said to be used to charge the phone from a computer. But I didn't think it could transfer data, just power. I could be wrong... It has a PS2 plug and the other end plugs into the charging cradle. Do you think it could transfer data as well?

You don't need a data package to text but if you have no texting package and only want to send a few it costs very little, like 20 cents each or something or 25. Mary

If the end that doesn't plug into your phone is a USB plug, then yes, it can plug into your computer. When you get it plugged in, open up your folders on your computer, and you will see an extra folder that you have never seen before with probably a weird name, open that folder and that will be your phones folder, you may have to surf around on the folder a little bit to find your pictures, but once you do. You can click click and drag the pictures to a new folder that you create that is on your computer.

Ok, well no texting. Sorry about that. I have to pay to text, which I don't want to do. I wanted this phone so I could use it like a camera. And it's not like a camera, if I have to pay to get the images to my computer.

You can edit messages. After you post go back in to what your wrote and on the right click options then edit. It's so much easier to use a micro card and a reader I find and it's very resonable price to do that if you phone as the slot and much easier than bothering to hook phone to computer but that's just me. I find I use my good little point and shoot digital more than my phone because the picture quality is much better and it's small and fits in my purse same as my cell. Hope you can get it sorted. I so agree. It seems like if people have the slot they waste more time trying to get the USB plug to work rather than buy a card and reader but I can understand if money is an issue and the phone comes with the USB plug that's cheaper. As you said you can then use it on any phone you get so money well spent. Mary

This one is $19.99, I think that you would find it a good investment. I have a 16GB microSD card in my X, but I don't have a reader because my laptop and desktop have microSD card slots and this mircoSD card came with my phone. I will take it out when I get a new phone so I won't have to worry about losing my pictures. That's a great deal. I have always had sandisk cards and readers and they work great and are very reliable. You need to be careful with the micro cards. If you have long nails and brown carpeting and you pop it across the room when you take it out of the phone slots it's very tuff to find. Needless to say I didn't vaccum for a week determined to find it and I did. Mary

hahaha! luckily my phone it just slides in and out from behind the battery, it doesn't have a slot on the outside, but I wish that it did!!

Neither do I, but with most smartphones it is really easy to transfer pictures with the usb cable. I take mine out cause it is annoying doing it through the cable

Well, I don't use System Restore on a regular basis. I think I've only ever used it once, and that was on a different computer. But I still would like to avoid it, so if you could tell me who I should contact about this driver thing, I would really appreciate it. Do you think just call Verizon customer service (star something from the phone)(or else I have the number somewhere)? I will look into the card reader thing if I can't fix the driver problem. Thanks for your research on that! (OT -- DbG2514, I was born in Ala, and always wanted to go to Auburn U. But my family moved away before I finished highschool. I'm tellin ya, football is not the same anywhere else, lol!)

Correct me if I am wrong but the maker of the phone makes the drivers not verizon. You might go on the site for the maker of the phone and contact them with your problems and see what they say. I bet if you google you can find some forums dealing with this phone and issue from others that might help. Mary
