Now that the weather is nice and I am outside, I find that I cannot see the Extravert screen in bright sunlight. The phone is unusable. I cannot even make a call using the touch screen. Is there anything that can be done for this problem?
I apologize if you've already tried this. Your phone and my phone (which is a Samsung u370 touchscreen with a qwerty keyboard) both have a menu option for what action you'd like the phone to take when you slide open the phone and press a key on the keyboard. On my phone after I set the action to off, then I can slide open the phone and use the physical number keys on the keyboard to dial and place a call.
To find these settings on your phone, see page "60" of the Extravert manual under section 5.1 Set Qwerty Shortcut

As far as the difficulty in seeing the screen in daylight outdoors, I find increasing the brightness of the screen helps a little.
Thanks for your suggestions, MojaveMoon_.
Hello Compfan03,
Thanks for posting. Adding to MojaveMoon_ suggestion, you can adjust the brightness of the screen following these steps:
Making adjustments to the brightness of your screen will make it easier for you to view in the sunlight. Thanks for being part of Verizon Wireless.
