How do I delete personal information from my device?

I have an old LG Optimus Zone that I plan to give someone.....how do I delete my personal info? Facebook...emails....as they are still showing up on this old phone.

Do a factory reset - somewhere in the settings is an option to reset to factory settings. That should erase everything and it will be ready to activate with a new number.

tap Apps .
Tap
Settings.
Tap
Privacy.
Tap Factory
data reset.
Tap Reset
phone.
If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.
Tap Erase
everything
