How do I log on to hotmail?

Question

I'm a first time user of an Apple 5s smartphone. I have been using a 10 year old clamshell style phone till now. I have setup and used the phone, camera and text but can not access my e-mails. I use Hotmail as my on-line provider: HELP ANYONE!

On a Windows Phone you can set up the account natively in the Mail app. You'll get full calendar, contacts, and email sync.
