How do I see the contacts for my own phone?

I'm on a family plan and can only see my wife's contacts online. I accidentally deleted my contacts yesterday and have been trying to see my contacts online, with no luck. I've see comments on registering my phone, but the site is so convoluted, I can't figure out where that might take place, nor how to do it. Any suggestions on how I can see the contacts for my own phone?

Each line needs its own My Verizon account in order to set up backups for contacts.  If you haven't done that for your line, your contacts may not have been backed up, unfortunately.  To set up a new My Verizon account, go to www.verizonwireless.com, then at the top where it says Sign In To My Verizon, click the button to the right that says Register and follow the prompts.
