Does anyone know how to set a Convoy 2 for Global calling from Canada?
That phone is CDMA only. There is no setting to change for international use. Either your device will pick up a signal or it wont. If it will not then you may be in an area that has GSM only coverage, then your phone will not work.
You may want to upgrade your device soon, after 09/01/2015, CDMA will start being phased out (not just in canada but just about everywhere in the world)
Thanks for your help and advice. I will consider it. This phone is my husbands and we are currently in Canada. He is worried that he can’t call if an emergency arises. We are also paying Verizon for global service on this phone.
