Is it not possible? Ive clicked on it and tried to set it over and over again making sure I save it but whatever the personal ringtone is for that person thats my message tone too. If I cannot change it, then that is a major disappointment for me.
I go in and click on my contact whose message tone I'd like to personalize
I click edit.
I click message tone and I change it.
I click save.
I go back to that contact to see if it changed.
Nope, it didn't change and if it did it changed to whatever the RINGTONE was.
Which is what I don't want.
Is there any way to fix this?
If not, fine.
But that really bums me out and for those who really want a basic phone but you want to personalize it, don't get this phone.
