Treasure Tags can be used as a remote shutter for the Lumia Selfie app, but of course, Verizon users can't use this because Verizon doesn't like Windows Phone users.

I believe so. Via NFC is recognizable but adding the tag to the app results in nothing. I think Treasure Tag specifically uses Bluetooth 4.0 LE which only comes with Cyan.
