LG Cosmos VN250 powering off and on problem

I have had my LG Cosmos VN250 for less than a year and recently it has been powering off for no reason. Sometimes when I go to answer a phone call or slide the phone open to use the keyboard it will shut off and then power itself back on. Other times it will turn off when I am not using it and won't power back on and I won't realize it until I go to use it so I never know how long it has been shut off. It is very frustrating especially because when it does it when I am receiving a phone call it doesn't record who the call was from in my received calls menu, so if I don't get a chance to see who is calling before it shuts off and then on, I have no way of knowing who called. Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there any way to fix it?

Good afternoon kdieckma,

I can certain understand what a hassle it must be to have your device power off randomly. Have you tried removing the battery, leaving it out for about 30 seconds, reinserting and then powering the device back on? After performing this step if you are still experiencing difficulties I recommend a master reset. Please make sure you back up your information since this will erase all data.

almost every phone that opens whether sliding, flipping open... etc, gets this problem eventually. LG is world's worst. My Env1 did it, my Env2 did it, my almost new cosmos touch does it now.... You can dial ##547378423638 then hit ok then send. access code should be "000000" then go to field tests, then errors to view them, then clear errors option, then scroll on down and turn wmc debug on. then turn off phone and restart. this is only a temporary fix though. Might last 2 hours, Might last a week.
