LG Exalt phone: How can text messages that end in "(MORE)" be completely read?

Some text messages end in "(MORE)" implying there is *more* to read. How is this done?  [Pressing OK *sends* a text message.]

Does this appear when you have selected the message and opened it?  Can you use the arrow keys to scroll to see more of the message?
