I bought the phone in September 2013. It started acting up. Would Dail out then hang up. We can text. I took the phone in an they say water damage. I'm not sure how! Then he tells me it only shows water damage on the battery not the phone. We can have it sent in if they say water damage it's $250.00 for a phone we paid .97¢. What can we do?!

You would be amazed at the many ways your phone can get exposed to moisture. The phone doesn't have to be fully immersed in water to be affected it in a negative way. Being in the bathroom with you while the shower's going, a light rain while your phone is in your pocket, etc. You can try replacing the battery to see if that does the trick. If not, the phone is most likely moisture-damaged and will need to be replaced. Do you happen to have insurance coverage on the phone? There would be a deductible to pay to replace it but it would be less than a damaged device fee.
