Samsung Reality - Basic Phone?

I have a Samsung Reality and was told it was a basic phone, no data plan needed. I know people who have this phone and they do not have a data plan. Anyone have this phone? Do you have a data plan on it?

I have been with Verizon for 20 years and just might need to move to a different carrier

The Samsung Reality no longer requires a data plan, i.e.,

Data plan needed for Samsung Rogue, Samsung Reality, or LG Env Touch?

Do you want data or not want data? Just curious - you didn't actually ask a question. Basic devices can use data, but as tikibar1 said that device does not REQUIRE data on the plan.
