Why is my alarm locking up my keypad?

Hi,

Anyone having a problem with the alarm going off and then freezing up the keypad?

When this happens the only key that works is the power button. I then have to turn the power off and reboot the phone to enable the keypad again. The alarm worked flawlessly until I dialed *228 to update the roaming list. I did this a few times to try and resolve the issue, even doing a software update through the settings menu to no avail.

I restored the phone settings to factory but that didn't work, that only reset user data not the software.

Any ideas?

I did a hard reset and it solved the problem. Just need to get my pictures

downloaded back to my phone! lol Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties HopefulCamel. I can help! Have you tried setting the alarm at a different time of day? Do you power the device off and on at least once a day? The hard reset would be the final troubleshooting step.
